What Is IEEE DSAA?

The IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics (DSAA) is a flagship annual meeting spanning the interdisciplinary field of Data Science. DSAA focuses on the science of data science, as well as significant data science applications to industry, government, and society. From the science side, DSAA highlights data science foundations, data characteristics and complexity, data quality and misinformation, discovery algorithms and models, representation and modeling, evaluation and visualization, and ethics and explainability. In addition, DSAA may span all of the component fields of data science, including statistics, probabilistic and mathematical modeling, machine learning, data mining and knowledge discovery, complexity science, network science, business analytics, data management, infrastructure and storage, retrieval and search, security, privacy and ethics. From the applications side, DSAA shows researchers important business problems and issues, and show practitioners and users how the data science can realize data value. DSAA features the interdisciplinary need and nature of data science and analytics and bridges the gaps between data science research and enterprise data innovation, as an alternative to the highly specialized disciplinary conferences.

DSAA’2020 will be held in Sydney, Australia as the 7th annual installment of the DSAA conference. DSAA is jointly technically sponsored by the American Statistical Association (ASA), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), ACM SIGKDD, and China Computer Foundation (CCF).
